How to reach our institute

  • From the train station (with public transportation):U-Bahn Plan
    At the Munich Central Train Station ("Hauptbahnhof") take any "S-Bahn" in the direction "Ostbahnhof" and get off at the second stop called "Marienplatz". From there change to the subway line U6 to "Garching Forschungszentrum". To reach the Technische Universität München, Campus Garching get off at the last stop "Garching Forschungszentrum".

  • From the airport (with public transportation):
    Take the "S-Bahn" Line "S1" (in the direction of "Ostbahnhof") to "Neufahrn". From there take the bus 690 (in the direction „Garching-Forschungszentrum“)  and get off at  „Garching-Forschungszentrum“.

    Alternatively, you can a taxi. The ride takes 15 minutes and costs about 35 €.
  • By car:
    The institute in Garching is right off of the A9 (Autobahn) exit "Garching-Nord". Continue to drive towards "Forschungsgelände" on the Ludwig-Prandtl street until you reach the university campus.
