Methoden

Methoden unterstützen den Anwender bei Tätigkeiten im Rahmen der Produktentwicklung. Dies geschieht durch die planmäßige und regelbasierte Anleitung zu systematischem Vorgehen. Methoden sind weitgehend produktunspezifisch in allen Phasen des Produktentwicklungsprozesses einsetzbar.

Die Unterstützung durch Methoden reicht von übergeordneten (strategischen) Ebenen bis zu elementaren Handlungen. Forschungsauftrag des Lehrstuhls für Produktentwicklung ist die Entwicklung und situative Anpassung von Methoden und Hilfsmitteln. Dabei wird neben der Integration fachfremder Disziplinen besonderer Wert auf die Zusammenarbeit mit Partnern aus der Industrie gelegt, um praxisgerechte, anwendungsorientierte Ergebnisse zu erzielen.

Thematische Schwerpunkte liegen auf der methodischen Unterstützung bei der Konstruktion und Entwicklung von Produkten sowie der Analyse und Optimierung von Entwicklungsprozessen.
