Processes

A sequence of activities aimed at achieving an objective is defined as a process. Processes are initiated to transform an undesired initial condition into a desired final condition.

In product development product specific and multidisciplinary procedures have to be distinguished. A product specific process is aimed towards the new or further development of a product, whereas cross-divisionary processes are not focussed on one product but represent measures applied to the entire cooperation.

An essential factor for success is to match process activities and resources. This calls for an extensive knowledge of the different steps of a process in order to identify weaknesses and potential for optimisation.

Prozesse

2Beispiel: Variantenmanagement
3Beispiel: Mass Customiziation
