CiDaD – Competence in Design and Development

The CiDaD online portal is provided for you by the Institute of Product Development at the TU München. Our intention is to support you as a developer in the design and development of technical products. The contents of the portal are based on findings and academic papers at the Institute of Product Development, which have been published in the lectures and books below:

•    Lecture “Methoden der Produktentwicklung”- also available in English as „Methods forProduct Development“
•    Lecture “Produktentwicklung und Konstruktion”
•    Book “Methodische Entwicklung technischer Produkte”, 2nd Edition 2007
•    Book “Konzeptentwicklung und Gestaltung technischer Produkte“, 1st Edition 2008

 The concept of the CiDaD portal is to provide a continuous data base of updated research project results, use cases and practical examples. The contents of CiDaD portal are unfortunately not available in English yet.
